We offer live, online programs including Apprentice Training, Journeyman Exam Prep, Accelerated Learning Tracks, and Master Exam prep. All are designed to prepare students for licensing and certification exams in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and state requirements.

Yes. All RMETI classes are delivered online through live instruction. Students can attend from anywhere, provided they have a stable internet connection.

RMETI instructors are real tradesmen with field experience. Our curriculum is exam-focused, updated regularly, and built to ensure comprehension, not just memorization. RMETI is an award-winning trade school listed as one of the Best Businesses in America, and in 2020 won the Trade School of the Year Award from the Denver Awards Program.

Two one-hour classes are held three or four nights a week from 6-8 PM MST.

Semesters are five months long, and there are five weeks off in between semesters. Depending on the course chosen, it will take one to four semesters to finish.

Apprentice programs generally meet three nights weekly, and Fast Track Journeyman classes meet four nights weekly.

Absolutely. Our evening class schedule was designed specifically for working adults and active apprentices. You can learn while keeping your current job.

While live attendance is required, a missed class may be made up with assignments from the instructor.

Yes. Enrollment for each semester closes a few days before the session begins. We recommend registering early to reserve your spot in the upcoming class.

No experience is required for the Apprentice Training Program. However, Journeyman Prep students should have prior electrical field experience or apprenticeship hours.

No high school diploma is needed to register.

Yes. RMETI is approved and regulated by the Department of Higher Education, Division of Private Occupational School Board. RMETI is also a recognized Training provider.

RMETI prepares students for electrical licensing exams but does not issue licenses. You’ll receive the training and exam readiness needed to apply for and pass your local or state exam.

While we are not a job placement agency, many of our students are already employed in the field or find opportunities through our network and recommendations.

Journeyman Electrician and Master Electrician exams.

Yes. Since all training is online and based on U.S. electrical code standards, international students may enroll. However, licensing options vary by country and must be confirmed locally.

Tuition varies by program. However, all costs are disclosed upfront, and we aim to keep our programs affordable for working individuals.

Yes. RMETI offers both 4-month and 5-month low-interest payment plans. These are designed to make tuition manageable without needing a loan.

Only the current NEC (National Electrical Code) Book is required. (Purchased separately).

Yes. RMETI accepts contractor or employer-sponsored payments. We also offer bulk enrollment discounts for teams.

Each student is assigned to an instructor who remains available throughout the course. Additional administrative support is also provided for scheduling, billing, or technical needs.
